Kolor

Terms of Use

Kolor for iPhone & iPad · iOS 17 and later · Last updated September 9, 2026

These terms cover your use of Kolor, an iPhone and iPad app published by twofox (Nischal Khadka). Installing or using the app means you accept them. They are written in plain language on purpose; the plain language is the agreement.

1. Your licence

Kolor is free and has no in-app purchases, no subscription and no ads. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA), extended by the EULA on this site. If anything here conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA controls. Apple is not a party to these terms but may enforce them as a third-party beneficiary.

2. What the app is

Kolor is a layer-based photo editor and collage maker: adjustments, filters, crop, cutout, text, stickers, brushes, overlays, collages and templates, all computed on your device. It needs iOS or iPadOS 17 or later.

3. Your work is yours

Photos you import and images you export remain entirely yours. twofox claims no licence over them, receives no copy of them, and has no way to see them. You are responsible for having the right to edit and share the photos you use.

4. Bundled content

Filters, stickers, overlays, templates and fonts included with Kolor may be used freely in images you create with the app, including commercially. They may not be extracted from the app or redistributed as standalone assets. Bundled fonts are licensed under the SIL Open Font License; their attributions are listed in the app under Settings → Licenses.

5. Fair use

  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the app or its content packs.
  • Do not use Kolor to create material that is unlawful where you are, or to deceive people about a real event or person.

6. Keep your originals

Kolor never overwrites a source photo, but a project lives only on the device it was made on. twofox has no copy and cannot recover a project you delete, or one lost with a device. Export finished images, and keep a device backup.

7. Availability and changes

Kolor is offered free of charge with no guarantee of future updates or continued App Store availability. twofox may add, change or retire features to keep the app working as iOS evolves. The app keeps working offline on devices where it is already installed.

8. Your data

The app has no accounts and collects no personal data. The privacy policy, which forms part of these terms, explains what stays on your device.

9. No warranty and limitation of liability

Kolor is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, twofox makes no warranty that it will be error-free, and is not liable for lost work, lost time, or indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights the law gives you as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. twofox may end the licence if you materially breach these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms, and any dispute about the app, are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You and twofox agree that the state and federal courts located in Maryland have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute. Nothing in this section takes away protections you have under the consumer laws of the place where you live that cannot be waived by agreement, and nothing in it limits Apple's rights under the Standard EULA. Before going to court, write to support@twofox.app: most problems are fixable with an email.

12. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version is published at this address with a new date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
